When it was time for a cheese breadstick, we partnered with the renowned Fiscalini Farmstead Cheese Co. in Modesto, California. While some manufacturers crow about “real” cheese as an ingredient, we process whole, fifty-two pound wheels of well-aged, world award-winning Fiscalini Bandage Wrapped Cheddar. Each wheel is a work of art, hand-selected for Panevino by Master Cheese Maker Mariano Gonzalez. The results defy description, and any other product in their category.
Slow, controlled baking produces a mellow, caramelized cheddar aroma and flavor that pair beautifully with a broad spectrum of wines from crisp, acidic sparklers to bold reds with firm tanins. Tomato soup, anyone?

We discovered the sea salt and the cheddar Grissini during lock down and were instantly hooked! Excellent paired with a glow (glass of wine) on our Thursday night Girls' happy hour on the lawn. We like them so much we included them in a "Best of California" gift box for our friends in Munich.
